A big portion of glam rock and metal? Alright, HOT ROD from Italy might be the right thing for you. "Harder Faster Glitter", the debut of the five-piece around vocalist Giuseppe Costa, who can't hide a little bit of an accent, though, does a good job vocally. They don't reinvent the wheel here for sure but everybody digging bands like HARDCORE SUPERSTAR, CONFESS or even HANOI ROCKS can't go wrong. A little bit of dirt in the very sound, especially when it comes to guitars, suits the band pretty well. A fine artwork completes the picture. (MS)
