Jürgen Breforth has been an integral part of the metal scene for more than 40 years. Enthusiastic and inspired by the "New Wave Of British Heavy Metal" with bands such as IRON MAIDEN, SAXON and JUDAS PRIEST, he founded his band MAD MAX in 1982. With the exception of a short break, the band is still releasing records successfully and is touring all over the world. Since MAD MAX has taken a more melodic path over the years, it was time for a second mainstay, because Jürgen's heart is made of pure steel. In 2023 he presents his authentic mix of NWOBHM influences and Teutonic Metal on "Metal In My Heart"! Together with his congenial songwriting partner and singer Peter Lenzschau, he has written ten timeless heavy metal anthems with autobiographical lyrics that should inspire all metalheads. All three pre-released singles "Reset My Sanity", "Wheel Of Fortune" and the anthemic title track show that no compromises are made here. Even today, Jürgen's fire is still there and together with BREFORTH lead singer Peter Lenzschau, Arne Fleischhut on drums, Erik Blumenthal on lead guitars and Jens Lükermann on bass, he's dying to share it with the whole world.
