New Finnish black metal entrant Monachopsis Art, whose members are already known from bands such as Shape of Despair, The Abbey, Henget and Sacrificium Carmen, will release their self-published debut album “An Empty Existence” on 31.3.2023. The album will be available on all streaming platforms, as well as CDs for physical format fans on the band’s Bandcamp page. The distribution of the album is handled by Sound Pollution Distribution.
The album contains 9 primitive songs with atmospheric twists and one song features a guest appearance by Spellgoth (Horna). Jesse Heikkinen has composed the music and he is also responsible for the album cover art, mixing and mastering. Natalie Koskinen wrote the lyrics and handled all the vocals.

Monachopsis Art has strong vibes from the 90’s black metal style and the band has already received positive feedback from listeners and media from different parts of the world.
