Fully remastered in 2025 and enhanced with bonus tracks, never-before-released live material, liner notes, and rare photos. Recorded in the early summer of '82 by Bernd Noske (vocals/drums), Bruno Frenzel (guitar/vocals), Ulrich Klein (keys), Jürgen Goldschmidt (bass), and Stefan Linke (guitar), 'Bäng' turned out to be the swan song of this iconic band lineup. Returning to a more direct, powerful rock style after their progressive era, Birth Control didn't chase trends - even with the rise of Neue Deutsche Welle and synth-pop. Instead, they stayed true to their roots. Frenzel's lyrics dive deep into dystopian themes, visually echoed by the album's iconic cover: an atomic blast under Marilyn Monroe's skirt. Ignored at the time, today 'Bäng' is a fan-favorite cult classic - finally restored in all its raw, rebellious glory.
